    Goodness gracious. Elbows didn't make it to the floor, legs hovering for half the time. Humbling. I am using a more helpful approach with my thoughts. I am strong, courageous, allowing, loving and grateful. These words make me feel strong, courageous, allowing, loving and grateful… Toward myself. Self judgement is easy when the poses are challenging. I appreciate your options for those of us whose body "ain't going to get there today!".

    Ususally, when I lie on my back and I extend my legs one at a time, there is a nasty cracking and popping in my left leg – whenever I do it, does not matter how often I extend it.
    This time it did not pop. It did not hurt. I am so happy right now and feel deeply relaxed =D

    I try to get on my mat every day, but I'm human and miss days sometimes. This is my favorite video to get me back on track and it doesn't feel like 45 minutes at all. Thank you, Adriene. You are a blessing!

    So i've been doing this session 3 times by now and i can feel becoming at ease with most of the movements real fast. Except for me (male) the wide leg spredding and bending forward with elbows touching the ground is still faaaar from possible. Anyway, thank you Adriene.

    This was my first time finishing and following an entire video doing Yoga and wow I feel so amazing! Recently I went to get an MRI and results came back that I had a disc bulge and for years now I’ve had lower back pain but kept ignoring it and of course once something happens to us we decide to do something about it. I wish I hadn’t taken the health of my body for granted. Through years of no proper mobility practice, backpacking for months during my travels, and focusing too much on strength training (deadlifts and squats) I neglected my body. Lately I have been feeling so discouraged as if nothing will work, and I stopped going to the gym afraid that any exercise I do even low intensity will strain my back and cause my bulge to slip even further. This video has given me some hope. I’m hoping that with yoga and meditation practice I can heal the body naturally. Wish me luck on my journey! Thank you for sharing! Please do more like these! 🙂

    Hello from Holland! I really love this video, I commute 196 km a day to work and my body always needs a deep stretch, so I do this routine often. Thank you. I have been following your channel for almost 3 years and doing yoga with your videos helped me a lot with the stress during my doctoral studies in Astronomy. It helped me to connect with my body and earth and stop thinking about abstract things like black holes and the expansion of the Universe 🙂
    It is so cool how I meet yoga people in random places in the world (I travel a lot) and all know your channel, it does tell something! You are fantastic. Congratulations! I would hug you but you are far! 🙂

    My 3 year old niece and i started doing these yoga videos after school instead of her usual tantrum. She can do all the poses, however, i cannot. Time to decide if id rather deal with sore muscles or a bratty child.
